DCEM TripleD (Detailed Disruption Datacollecting) is a module specially developed to monitor preference circuits during a power failure.



When a power failure occurs, the electrical system needs to boot from a undesirable situation to a normal operation. To achieve the normal situation, the power load at the generators is increased by predefined steps. At each step, a part of the electrical grid is switched on. While these power-steps are based on calculated or estimated loads for each step, a situation might occur where the load increases more than expected. This can result in breakers that trip or generator(s) that fail.

TripleD ensures that the measuring values of energy meters are continiously saved at a 1 second interval during a power failure. This results in a detailed view of the flow of electrical power within the electrical grid that can be used to analyse check predictions and calculations made in the past.

Each energy meter within DCEM can, in addition to show actual values, also show the historical values. With this historical view, you can go to a certain date and view the data of that date.
