Continuity and reliability are the most important things when it comes to the electrical system in the industry. To ensure this, it is important to have a clear overview of the energy flows within the industry at all times. To increase the reliability of the equipment in the industry, a good power quality is very important.

The image above gives an instant overview of the load on the transformers and its status. Also, it is visible immediately where there is a problem in the installation.

The DCEM Software is able to visualize and monitor the entire electrical installation and, if nescessary, send alarms to users.

  • Real-time view of the loads of transformers and generators.
  • Disruptions are reported immediately via web, SMS, email or forwarded to the Building Management System.

TripleD

DCEM TripleD (Detailed Disruption Datacollecting) is a module specially developed to monitor preference circuits during a power failure.

When a power failure occurs, the electrical system needs to boot from a undesirable situation to a normal operation. To achieve the normal situation, the power load at the generators is increased by predefined steps. At each step, a part of the electrical grid is switched on. While these power-steps are based on calculated or estimated loads for each step, a situation might occur where the load increases more than expected. This can result in breakers that trip or generator(s) that fail.

Real-time monitoring and logging of preference circuits.

During the switching of the system, monitoring of the installation is of great importance. TripleD ensures that the measuring values of energy meters are continiously saved at a 1 second interval during a power failure. This results in a detailed view of the flow of electrical power within the electrical grid that can be used to analyse check predictions and calculations made in the past.

Each energy meter within DCEM can, in addition to show actual values, also show the historical values. With this historical view, you can go to a certain date and view the data of that date.

Real-time and historical monitoring of the system load.

In addition to the load profile, the set limits are immediately visible in the graph. Because of this it is instantly visible when the load is getting to a critical point.

Alarms

If a value exceeds a limit, DCEM sends a message to the user. This person can then take action before something fails.

The alarms through DCEM can be set on urgency, user and can even be connected to a time table so that the right person gets the alarm message depending on the time of day

Within a few seconds alarms via web, email, SMS and Building Management System.

In addition to monitoring energy, DCEM can also monitor other systems such as temperatures, humidity and switch positions.
